The award «spiel gut» (= play well) is not easy to get. A toy has to earn it – in theory and in practice. Or better, exactly the other way round. Each year, some 500 toys are presented to the independent association and are then passed to families, kindergartens or similar institutions to be put to the acid test first thing – whether they fulfil the «spiel gut»-requirements. Playing value, functionality, health and ecological aspects all play an important role.

On the basis of toy tests in practice, a honorary committee independent from the toy and toy distribution industry elects the winners, who are authorized to use the orange-coloured quality label. This committee, that has been in existence since 1954, is composed of medical doctors, educators, psychologists, technical engineers, chemistry and electronics specialists, as well as designers and environmentalists. And this is why we at plasticant mobilo^® are so proud that our construction toy has been bearing this award for these many years.
